Reviews:"This is a great studio in the heart of Ealing Broadway. The class size is perfect, great value for money and well paced and in a lovely calm environment! I usually train with Elena and she is fantastic! I always look forward to these lessons (Prenatal Yoga) and they have really helped me during my pregnancy. Postnatal Mum & Baby YogaPostnatal Mum & Baby Yoga classes are a great way to get back into shape, have fun with your baby and connect with your community of new parents.
Benefits of postnatal yoga: – strengthens the back, abdominal and pelvic floor muscles – releases tension in shoulders and neck muscles – helps to improve posture – decreases overall stress and promotes relaxation – builds patience and inner-calm – provides an opportunity to connect with other mums – creates a safe environment for mum and baby outside of their home When is a good time to start? It is important to rest right after giving birth. The first 6 weeks after birth are your special time for you to bond with your baby and for you to recover. By the end of the first seven-eight weeks of the postnatal period, women should be ready to start their regular exercise, however it is important to listen to your body and take it very slowly. Women who had a regular yoga practice or training prior to pregnancy should remember to reenter their practice gently. Always consult your GP for advice on when to resume practising. What to bring: We have all you need including mats, belts, blankets and bolsters. We suggest you bring a towel for yourself and for your little one, maybe some toys and anything else you need for feeding your baby. |
