About Elena
Elena Sanesi is a certified 500 RYT and PRYT Yoga Teacher by Yoga Alliance Standards and C-IAYT certified Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
She was born near the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. Passionate about languages and other cultures, she graduated as a professional translator at S.S.L.M.I.T. (Bologna University) and subsequently got her MA in Marketing. She has lived and worked in various European countries and fluently speaks a few languages.
Her strong curiosity for the mind-body dynamics started at a very young age and took her through a journey of exploration on various subjects related to holistic healing modalities, body anatomy, psychology and theosophy. However it was only following a bad ski accident in 2008, that she tried Reiki for the first time and started a regular Yoga practice to support her healing process.

In her continuous strive for serving a wider range of population through the transformative path of Yoga, Elena studied with Lilian and Joseph LePage Integrative Yoga Therapy at Kripalu Centre in MA, USA from 2016 to 2019 and she is now C-IAYT certified 800Hours Professional Yoga Therapist.
Elena also volunteered as Faculty Assistant for 2 weeks during Module 2 of Kripalu Yoga Therapy course in August 2019, joyously assisting a faculty of 5 teachers and 52 students.
