Teachers: Keiko Liotta Yoshino and Cristian Liotta
After practicing different yoga methods, Keiko deeply fell in love with Jivamukti Yoga. She is 800-hour certified, after completing Jivamukti yoga teacher training in India under Sharon Gannon and David Life. Since coming back, she’s been teaching regularly. She studied Psychology (Bsc, Msc), researched cognitive psychology and brain neuron science, also expert of the multivariate analysis. She always tries to adopt the psychological method of behaviour therapy into her yoga class, making the connection between modern science and ancient yogic scriptures. Her powerful voice and musical skills give her the freedom to chant Sanskrit mantras and play with the harmonium in all her classes. Keiko and Cristian often teach together and bring a joyful and loving energy to all their classes. Cristian started his Yoga journey due to a physical injury and witnessed not only the healing of his injury, but the transformation of his life. Since then he has continued to study and deepen his understanding, learning from various teachers and incorporating the teachings in his own life and in his classes. After certifying in Jivamukti Yoga, he started to integrate aspects of all Yoga’s main paths into his classes, aiming to make these ancient Yoga teaching accessible to people in this day and age, as it is his firm conviction that they are even more relevant and needed today, than they were 5000 years ago. He is eternally grateful to all his teachers and mentors for their invaluable help and support throughout his endless journey as a student of Yoga.
