This 6 Week Yoga Beginners course is designed for complete beginners, yoga students with less than a year’s yoga practice as well as students who wish to deepen their foundation and further their knowledge and understanding of yoga in a slower paced setting. Everyone was a beginner at some point and the best thing you can do is come along, roll out a mat and just have fun with the group. We will work in small groups so that we’ll be able to look after each student individually. We will look at breaking down the fundamentals of a well-rounded yoga practice, this will include asanas (physical postures) pranayama (breathing techniques) and basic meditation.
By starting your regular weekly class, you will more focused, more grounded and stronger in your daily life. The course is a way to begin your practise and discover yoga in a safe and fun space, it is a great way to create a foundation for your practise, as well as give you the confidence to attend any open or all level yoga classes and give you the skills to develop your own personal practice at home. You will also learn about the 8 Limbs of Patanjali Yoga, the Chakras, the 5 Koshas and Prana Vayus and other fundamental concepts to deepen your knowledge of Yoga.
